Accessibility Awareness Day
at the Anchorage Zoo

An opportunity to bring community members together to collect resources/information on accessible technology and services related to communication access for hearing loss and speech disability.

American Sign language Interpreters will be provided for entertainment and at the exhibits!

Get Your Complimentary Tickets for the Event!

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Tickets will be on a first-come, first-service basis.

  • Complimentary tickets are for individuals or family members of individuals who are Deaf, DeafBlind, Hard of Hearing or Speech Disabled.
  • Limit 4 tickets per family; while supplies last. (Can purchase additional tickets at the gate)
  • Reserved tickets can be picked up at the Gateway Hall on the day of the event.
  • Please take this opportunity to meet and discuss with exhibitors. 
  • Deadline to reserve tickets is September 20th.
