HCO allows a person with a speech disability who can hear to make a call by typing to the Communications Assistant who reads the message to the other party. The HCO user can hear the other party’s spoken responses through the phone.

How Does HCO Relay Work?

    The HCO user types to the Communications Assistant.

    The Communications Assistant reads aloud the typed message to the other party.

    The other party speaks directly to the HCO user.
