Video Relay Service
Video Relay Service (VRS) is a form of Telecommunications Relay Service (TRS) that enables persons with hearing loss who use American Sign Language (ASL) to communicate with the other party through webcam, rather than through typed text. The webcam links the VRS user with a video interpreter – so that the VRS user and the video interpreter can see and communicate with each other in signed conversation.
